Newtown Pool League;  "Playing Premier Pool in Powys"

Jimmy White Snooker Night

CURRENT TABLES AND WEEK'S RESULTS

A record FIVE postponed fixtures is threatening to reign chaos onto the League as we near the end of the season. Far too many fixtures are being put off with a total of 12 fixtures currently outstanding. On top of that, two teams failed to turn up at their opponents, thus handing them 10-0 wins. Once again, at next season's AGM, the League is going to have to consider prohibiting any postponements at all - join the League and abide by the fixture list - or don't join!

Premiership - Leadership race even more interesting again as Elite lose a point away to Llanbadarn and are now just a point ahead of the Lion who won against Monty Dons. Grapes are just a further point behind in what has become a genuine three horse race.

Division Two - Herbert gain significant advantage by winning 9-1 at home to Pheasant Geezers whilst Squashed Grapes slumped at the Dragon Extremists. Dolau climb to second after beating Cambrian A.

Division Three - Bellenders putting some space between themselves and other contenders after they won whilst Courthouse and Queens A shared the spoils by drawing. Bucanneers climb to second after Buck Hotel B fail to turn up.
