Newtown Pool League; "Playing Premier Pool in Powys" |

CURRENT TABLES AND WEEK'S RESULTS THERE ARE FIXTURES NEXT SUNDAY, 13th APRIL
Our administration software had an error on the dates which showed 13th April as a spare week, but that will be on 20th April after the league fixtures have ended, with next week seeing the last scheduled fixtures. The 20th April will be used for playing cup matches, whilst the following week, 27th April, will be for Cup semi-finals.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR YOUTH PLAYERS
All the results have been entered into the databases and all the league tables are now up to date. Premiership - An editorial mistake on our website and in the Pool Press said that The Elite only needed a point last night, whereas that will be the position next week in the last fixtures as The Lion are only one point behind. Both Lion and Elite won comfortably last night, but the Grapes had a major slip up after playing their game against Full Montys a week early, they slumped to a 7-3 defeat which is likely to cost them runners-up spot.
Division Two - Dolau beat Herbert, Chirbury 6-4 but it is not likely to help them win as Chirbury are still two points ahead and have a game in hand to play. Squashed Grapes get back to winning ways and will be hoping to finish in second, too. Bettws and Cambrian A vying for fourth place which should go to the Cambrian with their game in hand.
Division Three - Bellenders triumph and can now be proclaimed League Champions after beating Queens Head A 7-3. Congratulations to Stuart Humphreys and his side. The Queens Head B could only get a point and it puts them ahead of the Bucanneers on frame difference in second place.
LADIES singles draw carried out. All games to be played by 11/4/08
YOUTH LEAGUE - All results from Thursday 3rd April entered into Youth Databases. Next games on Thursday 10th April, 6.30pm.
