John Parrott Snooker Exhibition at The Elephant & Castle Hotel, Newtown on Friday 21st November
The
North Powys County side are once again organising a Snooker Exhibition at
Newtown's Elephant & Castle Hotel following on from the enormous
success of last year's event featuring Jimmy White.
This year, the star attraction is Snooker professional and BBC TV pundit, John Parrott who will play 10 frames of snooker against local players, including some of the County players themselves.
He will be supported by the star of last year's exhibition, Wayne Smith; who will be performing pool trickshots before the snooker starts and in the mid-session interval. Last year, Wayne's demonstration was extremely popular and he has kindly agreed to provide further entertainment this year.
Tickets are strictly limited and are priced at £15. They can be obtained from League officials or from any of the County players. Profits will be divided between Alderhay Childrens Hospital and the North Powys Pool sqaud travelling fund. 18/10/08 - 2200hrs
