Flying Shuttle In Hot Water After Failing To Turn Up At Unicorn, Caersws
The League rules, which were changed last year to sort out sides who fail to turn up for games, will come into force against the Flying Shuttle side from Division Three who failed to attend at the Unicorn in Caersws for their league fixture on 9th December. Not only that, but no phone call or notification of any sort was supplied to the Unicorn Captain, Paul Adams who had prepared food for their visitors.
Our rules state that when a team does this they receive a first and last warning, and any repetition is then brought before the League Committee with a view to throwing the side out of the League.
A letter will be sent to the Flying Shuttle team and their pub Landlord informing them of their breach of League rules and gross ignorance.
The Doubles draw has been carried out and is attached to the Pool Press.
