Several More Shocks In This Week's Results The Grapes were the biggest name to lose again this week, going down 6-4 to the Waggon A, presenting team Captain, Phil Jones with his worst ever start to the season. Llanbadarn and The Lion were both without games, so the Elite's 7-3 win away to the Buck Off was sufficient to put them forward as early leaders. The Nomads, playing early against Lion A because neither had matches, lead the division after another 8-2 victory.
In Division Two, the Herbert, Chirbury newcomers are starting to find it a little tougher, dropping a point away to the Pheasant A where they drew. The Squashed Grapes won the toughest match of the week away at The Dolau, but a complaint has been received from the Dolau Landlady about the conduct of one of the Grapes players. Bettws lead the way after a huge 10-0 win at home to Pheasant Geezers, but the biggest shock by far was Cambrian A's 10-0 thrashing of the Red Lion at the Cambrian.
Herbert Honeys have found the winning formula early on, beating Bell B to register two points. Buck Hotel B beat their new "C" team colleagues, but there were three draws this week, proving the teams are closely matched. The Courthouse and Buccaneers both won this week, and they share the lead at the top of Division Three.
