Player of the Year Positions
There was plenty of drama in the Player of the Year Positions last night, although some of the positions had already been wrapped up by circumstances prevailing.
Premiership - both Paul Robinson and Ed Lewis were on Wales duty at Bridlington last weekend, so neither played in their match against Football Robins, ensuring Paul claims the top spot after Ed Lewis had led for most of the season, beating him by one game, 40pts to 39pts.
Division Two - Barry Owen held a 2pt lead going into last night's match against Bettws B, but he lost both and then had to watch as his team-mate rivals, Mark Borland and Meredydd Williams could only win one game each, ensuring his lead was reduced to one point, but was still intact. Whilst Barry wins it on 35, Mark and Meredydd and Alan Walker from Bettws B will play off for Runners Up on 34pts.
Division Three - Both the challengers for this title could only win one frame each, meaning Sam Morris wins on 40 and Rich Williams is second on 39.
