Keith Brewer Event At Herbert Results In Late Night Cook-in

English International and Professional pool player, Keith Brewer was the star at a pool exhibition played at Kerry's Herbert Arms last Friday.

He played twenty local players, largely from the Herbert Arms pool teams, but several players from Newtown popped out to try their luck including Nigel Owen, Drew Hughes, Steve Jones-Evans and Dale Jarman. Dale was the only winner in the 20 frames played and the crowd were treated to some scintillating pool from the amiable star.

After a bit of a late night finish with some ad hoc matches taking place after the exhibition, Keith went on to Dale Jarman's curry house for something hot and spicy and played pool against Dale, Phil and Steve through to dawn. Some say Keith had a shock when Dale presented him with the usual hefty bill for his catering services!
