Jimmy White Night Is A Spectacular Success

The Jimmy White Snooker Exhibition, arranged by the Newtown County Pool Team took place on Friday at the Elephant & Castle and was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by the capacity crowd of 250 that attended. They watched several breaks of 50+ and one excellent table clearance of 130 from one of the most famous and popular snooker players in the world.

Also enjoyed by the audience, was an exhibition of pool trick shots from our own Wayne Smith, and Wayne thrilled the crowd with some daring displays, including a couple with some female "victims".

Huge congratulations to the Phil Jones and Mike Williams who did the vast amount of the work for this, together with Mark Borland who arranged for Jimmy to come along, and lastly to the whole County squad who worked together to make it all happen. Well done
