Meeting - Thurs 30th Aug
The meeting on
Thursday this week (30th August) is at 8pm at the Football Club. The
purpose of the meeting is threefold, but it is not compulsory to attend if
you wish to deliver your entry form, and FEE of £15 to the Secretary or
Chairman BEFORE that date.
Reasons for
meeting:
1. Receive entry
forms and entry fees from ALL teams wishing to join;
2. To decide,
based on the number of forms received for entry, how many teams will be in
each division and if there is thought to be too many, whether to form a
new fourth division. The maximum number we can accommodate in a three
division format is 48 and that will extend the season from an end of April
ending to an end of May finish.
3. To form a
Committee which will run the League throughout the season. Eight people
are required, some from all divisions, and these people will meet if there
are any disciplinary issues or decisions required.
So, please
make sure you get your entry form in, either before or at this meeting -
or you will not be allowed entry.
