Favourites Progress Almost Everywhere in Cup Semi-Finals
With one exception, there were wins for all the favourites in the various Cup semi-finals tonight (Sunday). In the main League Cup, the Elite overcame their Deserters opponents and the other favourites, Llanbadarn made short work of Upper House A, setting up a scintillating Cup final.
The Consolation Cup went the way of the Premiership sides, with Herbert A booking their final place after beating Red Dragon and Evo Stix saw off their Dolau Inn opponents.
The only real surprise came from the Red Dragon's defeat of Waggon Eh, but that +4 handicap is a tough mountain to climb for the Premier teams. The Red Dragon will meet another Premier side (they have already demolised the Deserters, Elite and Waggon) in the Lion who beat Horse & Jockey 6-5.
In the Division 2 & 3 Cup, the Squashed Grapes will play Dolau in the final after beating Cefn Coch, 6-1.
