Big County Match at Newtown Tomorrow - Sunday July 8th
This will be the first game in the second half of the season, with the North Powys lads having done well, occupying third position. They are four points behind Torfaen and fifteen points behind the leaders, Port Talbot, who they face tomorrow. So, whilst Newtown play the leaders, second placed Torfaen are away to bottom side, Merthyr.
This could be a momentous day in this season's league ladder, as a defeat at home to Port Talbot, and a win for Torfaen, could put the leading duo too far ahead to be easily caught. On the more positive side though, a tidy win for Phil's lads will see them close the gap and they can only hope for Merthyr to give Torfaen a decent game, as there was only six points in it when the two met earlier in the season. GOOD LUCK LADS!
