County Lads Get Creditable Draw Away at Cardiff
Away to Cardiff Bluebirds, the Newtown County lads got a rude awakening when they found themselves 6-3 down after the first session. They came back well to win the second session 7-2, but from there on it was neck and neck and the sides finished 18-18.
Whilst these two were playing each other at 3rd and 4th in the League, so the first and second sides were playing each other, and they also had an 18-18 draw! Port Talbot and Torfaen therefore keep exactly the same lead as they had before this weekend, 16 and 5pts respectively, ahead of Newtown. Mark Borland was voted as Man of the Match.
